Follow the long meandering driveway through the property to find the house, nestled within an old gravel quarry amongst established gum trees.
It is an incredibly peaceful and private setting - secluded amongst the bush, yet opening out to breathtaking ocean views.
The home at Blue Gum Quarry has been designed as a place to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of Flinders Island in comfort.
Open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and allow the fresh island air to flow through the house.
Settle on the lounge after a day exploring the island, enjoy a glass of wine while watching the changing light over the landscape, or gather around the table for a relaxed dinner with family or friends.
The designer kitchen is generously equipped for guests who enjoy cooking. It includes modern appliances, ample preparation space and a large double-door fridge/freezer (with plumbed drinking water) - making it easy to settle in and enjoy the property as your home away from home.
The stylish bathroom offers the luxury of both a shower and a separate bath - perfect for a long soak after a day spent walking, swimming or exploring the island.
Sheridan towels are provided, along with body wash, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer, so you can travel a little lighter.
A spacious separate laundry provides a washing machine, dryer and second toilet, as well as an additional lounge area - particularly convenient for longer stays.
Outside, a BBQ, outdoor table and stools make relaxed meals easy, while picnic equipment is provided for guests wanting to pack lunch and head off on an island adventure.

Each bedroom consists of quality, comfortable mattresses with beautiful linen and cosy doonas for the cooler nights. The home comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two beautifully presented bedrooms.
The generous main bedroom features a queen-size bed, built-in robe and its own lounge chair — a quiet space to read, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The second bedroom features a comfortable double bed and built-in robe.

Cancellations & Refunds
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. Full payment is due no later than seven days before arrival. To be entitled to a full refund you need to provide at least 14 days notice otherwise you forfeit the deposit.
