• The spacious, open-plan living area has timber floors, high ceilings, and is flooded with natural light.

• Sliding doors lead onto decking which wraps around the house, offering expansive views across Bass Strait to Castle Rock and Marshall Bay.

• The designer kitchen provides a full range of modern cooking facilities, including a coffee machine.

• There are gorgeous navy velvet sofas, comfy reading chairs, a large dining table and a wood-burning heater – all of which help to create an idyllic island escape.

• There are two generous queen-sized bedrooms (one with ensuite) with private access to a balcony and waterfront views. There is a third with a single and queen bed.

• Beds are all fitted with designer 100 percent cotton bed linen and hotel-quality mattresses and doonas.

• A large family bathroom is off the living area with a shower and built-in laundry. Sheridan towels are provided along with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as a hairdryer.

• The smell of freshly cooked bread will welcome you on arrival. You will also find the owner’s free-range eggs in the fridge together with breakfast supplies for the first morning, including milk, muesli, tea, coffee, and condiments.

• There is also a BBQ, an outdoor dining table, and picnic equipment.

• Fresh flowers from the owner’s garden are in every room, and magazines have been thoughtfully placed throughout the house.

NOTES

Emita is a quiet coastal neighbourhood, where it is rare to share your beach or coastal walks with anyone. You can take your pick of some of the most instagrammable beaches on the island - Emita, Allports, Lillies, Port Davies, Sawyers Bay and Marshall Bay.

Meander along the coastal paths or head north and tackle Mt Killecrankie. Pop next door to visit the local museum. The historic Wybalenna Chapel is a five-minute drive from Allports and offers an intriguing insight into the Indigenous history on Flinders Island.

Cancellations & Refunds

A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. Full payment is due no later than seven days before arrival. To be entitled to a full refund you need to provide at least 14 days notice otherwise you forfeit the deposit.
